a long way to go and a short time to get there

In the last 3 weeks I have been to a conference in Houston, a mission trip to New Orleans, and Christmas in Nashville and Lexington.  So as you can probably tell, it has been next to impossible to find the time to write.

Tonight we are heading to Egypt and Jordan until the end of next week. Pray for us while we are away, and we'll be back in the new year with many new stories and reports.  Stay tuned...

Peace in the Middle East,
First Born Son

I will be praying for your safety and for a meaningful trip for you.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I grew up Methodist, am now Catholic and teach English to Christians, Muslims, Jews, and many other faiths as well as children from no particular faith background. We often talk about history, philosophy, religion, tolerance, intolerance, and all of the other topics that come up when you talk about literature. Your unique perspective and tolerance really help me to be honest, open, and to most of all, listen to what the kids have to say to me and each other.
