Well, the first picture I saw when I came to your site today was that of beautiful Sadie - who by my count must be 3 months old now. Have you and your wife stopped staring at her yet? - they are truly so magnificent and I can remember the first wite of my first baby - nothing more heavenly or sent from God.

Omar, thank you for your blog. I can't tell you how sad I have been the past 5 years of this stupid war, but probably not sad enough. As the U.S. was making the decision to invade Iraq, I fasted and prayed for peace and invited others in my prayer group to join me. One woman's response left me dumbfounded: "Peace? There will be no peace until Jesus comes." I could not figure this out until I went to seminary and learned about dispensationalism, and now I realize what a huge impact theology has on politics. But a bigger impact is fear. You have addressed all of this in your blog, and I hope many people read it.
